Instructions
Windows
1. Select the dimensions of the picture most appropriate for your screen resolution. To find out the best size for you, right-click on your desktop, select 'Properties.' In the window that appears; select 'Settings' and note the pixel dimensions in the section called 'Screen area.'
2. Click on the image to open it in a new window.
3. Choose 'Set as Background...' (Internet Explorer) or 'Set as Desktop Background' (Firefox) from the menu that appears.
Macintosh
1. Select the dimensions of the picture most appropriate for your screen resolution. To find out the best size for you, go to your Macintosh 'Preferences,' open the item 'Displays' and note the pixel dimension highlighted in the section called 'Resolutions.'
2. Click on the image to open it in a new window.
3. Choose 'Use Image as Desktop Picture' (Safari) or 'Set as Desktop Background...' (Firefox) from the menu that appears.
